Egg too small, duckling pipped, struggling to breathe, no noise, day 28 - pic attached

Pics
He is looking good
Can’t wait for pictures
Such a trooper! My mother said she thought it was the wrong egg and I was hatching an alligator. Hahaha. She melted when she saw the picture of his little face. We are in love over here. He needs to be ok. And his mates too.

I'll only make the pin prick safety hole if the others internally pip but not externally for more than 18 hours, but then will leave them be. I know a little more of what true trouble looks like now. (Thanks to you and WVduckchick!)

You have helped me so so much. Can't thank you enough. If you're ever in New England, dinner is on me!!!

My husband is on egg watch while I've been out running errands. I've been keeping tabs with the camera. He's really pushing now and the veins are darkening finally! Can't give a good picture because the little blink camera is not very clear. I have it in a plastic container so the humidity doesn't destroy it. Lol.

I do think he's glued in there, but for now we are just waving pom poms and chanting cheers. I'll be home in 10 minutes and am set up to jump in (only) if he needs it👍

Any updates ?

Not much to report. He's much more active and absolutely wants to get out, but I still see the big veins. I was able to "stretch" the membrane some. He doesn't seem to be too stressed, so I'm still watching

Such a handsome fellow 😁. I picked up orange ping pong balls while I was out today. Didn't get white so there would be no egg confusion. Lol! The original 5 ducklings loved to play with them. As they got bigger so did the toys. They have a couple smallish beach balls now. Hahaha.

I got little ducks for the tub. The babies loved playing with them at bath time
