Okay, so the skillet has been demobilized until it gets closer to hatch time.
I just transferred 6 Red/Brown Ameraucana eggs from the skillet to the new Hova-Bator. They had been in the skillet since Friday at noon.
Also I added another dozen eggs (3 cuckoo marans, some cochins and some silkies).
That means the skillet will go back into service as a hatcher for the first 6....if they manage to get that far.....let's hope.
Farmer Kitty, I hope you are sleeping by now, but you are the trail blazer for this experiment, and I sure hope your eggs are still viable !!!!! I'll be checking your thread first thing when I get up tomorrow.
