Eggs had a plane trip. Lets see what happens. I HAVE BABIES. and PICS.

We were originally going to just have them sent up to us but when we went to have a look at the chickens the guy said that he gets his mother to take up eggs for him when she visits him, with no problems. He also said that the scanner doesn’t hurt the eggs but I didn't want to risk it and just got the people to hand check the eggs. At the Tasmanian airport it was a lot easier and the lady that was checking the eggs actually breed silver laced wyandottes, so that made things easier. at the Melbourne airport though they thought I was insane and were all saying that I had to put them through the scanner but one guy came along and asked what was happening he got it ( it was about time somebody did ) and was saying to everyone, They’re going to hatch, you know, chickens. Then they all thought he was crazy too. But after checking them with a magnet thing and with something that checks if they were explosive they finally let us through.

6 of you going from Queensland to Tasmania really cheap compared to 4 of us coming from the United States.

I for one would LOVE to visit!!!!! Tanzanite is my favorite gem ever and I can imagine it must be much less costly there. Are the eggs in the bator yet (I didn't read everything).

That is one cute dog!!! I am glad to hear it was just fatty lumps-

I would love to be able to afford to visit anywhere out of the country! Your world always looks so beautiful in pictures- makes me want to emigrate!

yes the eggs are in the incubator, today is day four. I have put the wax on the egg with the cracks so I hope it will be fine. I also candled the bantams

all 3 of the silkies look good but only 2 of the 6 wyandotte bantams look fertile

. I love the bantam eggs, they are so easy to candle.

Geezzz, you can candle on day 4? I am terrible at candleing, so I usually just wait until I move them to lockdown to check for anything.

I'm off today and tomorrow, and it is suppose to be nice weather. I am happy about that, so I can spend time outside. How is your weather today?
