I bought the Janoel 12 egg incubator and my fertile eggs from eBay just came in the mail. I’m excited to start this. Does anybody have any tips with this particular incubator they could share? Thanks

Is it already running? Unless you're very familiar with your incubator, you should have it up and running for a couple of days before you set the eggs.

Don't trust the thermometer and hygrometer on the incubator. Get and calibrate at least one more of each to watch the temp and humidity. For coturnix quail, keep the humidity low, around 30%.

That’s great advice. It’s not running yet, but I’ll let it run a while before I put them. Thank you!

I have a Janoel 12 incubator, but I haven't used it very often. I think one of my birds was hatched out of it. I normally naturally brood quails so I don't usually need an incubator.
Pretty sure other people on here have used the same type and may have tips we could both use :D
