Election Thoughts for my dear Chicken Friends

Regardless to sides and view points, its great that you are teaching our "future" presidents and reps, governors etc...an opinion.
Opinions, educated ones, are so important so we can look at the good and bad in all of them.

If you don't vote, you have no right to complain

. That is my motto for the next 4 years! lol!!!!

Also, I say,
Its better to choose a bad choice over the worse choice.

Good for you Chickiebaby! Not only are you personally involved in the process, but you're demonstrating the democratic process to the younger generation. Please report back and let us know how it went. I hope those kids come away with a true appreciation for the right that we are granted in this country.

I look forward to doing something like that with my own kids the next time. Hubby and I study the many different sides of the political process and our kids get to see that. They know our positions on some of the issues. While driving them to school, they started booing signs for people who are voting differently than we are. Rather than join in with them, it opened up a discussion as to why some people favor one side while others prefer something different. Even though neither will be eligible to vote until the 2016 presidential election, I want them to grow up understanding their responsibility to know what and why they're voting for something, while still respecting the right of others as well.

I look forward to your next report and am especially interested in hearing what the kids thought. Thanks so much for doing your part!
