My wife and I fenced in 1/2 acre for the chicken yard. Now I want to run an electric hot wire around the outside to keep dogs, foxes and coyotes out.
We live in a rural area and canine predators are an issue.
How far away from the field fence should the hot wire be? The hangers will be attached to t-post.
How far off the ground should the first strand run?
Is there a certain brandname hanger or wire you recommend?
