Electrified and Sodded Run - Pix Included!

Hi all,

My DH, a loving husband (an electrician) built me this great ELECTRIFIED run, and helped me sod it as well.

The run is 14 x 21 foot, and 6 feet in heighth. The electried strands are placed at 4, 8, 12, 18, 24, 30, 36 48 and 60 inches respectively. He ran the tap for the electricity from the electric fence around our property.

The interior is lined with hardware cloth up to 24 inches, and it is grounded (keeping us from unintentional fried chicken!), then chicken wire from there to the top.

The top of the run is covered with poultry netting.

So far, we have had no intrusions.....

Hi R@andy,

We have at least one of everything...fox, dogs, possum, raccons, hawks, coyotes, snakes...I don't know if I am forgetting anything, but you get the gist...
