Embden help

I have a pair of Embden that are about 4 months old. A friend had temporarily housed her ducks with me and recently took them to their new home. Now my male goose seems to be freaking out. The hollering is constant and doesn't stop unless I put him in his house. The female seems to be fine, but he's now running around hissing at everything - including my chickens! It's been over two weeks - can anybody help me?

in his mind they were taken away by predators and now he must be on guard at all times. he will calm down after awhile. do they make xanax for geese?

There's a thought! Maybe I could slip him a mickey in his feed? If not I might just try a little for myself!

So I just need to be patient then? He really is a sweet guy (lets me pet him and hold him) and I hate to see him so upset.
