Hi! :) In June I am getting 70+ chicks in the mail. I'm looking for a list of "essential supplies" I should keep on hand for these babies in anticipation of problems that need immediate treatment? I do have some various probiotic packs and things like that but I'm wondering if anyone has a good list on hand of supplies that you'd need for baby chicks? 🐣

Poultry Cell or NutriDrench can be good to have for a weak chick to revive them. Gallon waterers which would be heavier when chicks jump up on them, and not turn over. Corid for treatment of coccidiosis, unless they are going to be vaccinated. A wound spray, such as Microsyn or Vetericyn for minor wounds. Saline and plain Neosporin (or Terramycin ointment ) also for wounds and hurt eyes. What type of heat will you use, a heat plate or lamp?
