Emergency...suspected thrush/ Canker...copper sulphate??

Also we have been putting iodine on the lesions in her mouth..we were doing it twice a day but it so stresses her out that she passes out afterward, she just cant tolerate it very well.
We dropped it to once a day and didn't do it today at all, I'm afraid the stress will counteract any good the iodine does.. Does anyone have experience with how effective the iodine is? I can't tell if it was doing any good, or not.

Acidified copper sulphate is what you want to use if you're using copper sulphate.

FWIW, I thought mine had canker, but it's actually wet pox. Here is a picture of a hen that has both the wet and dry pox.

What is the difference? Can you explain what the pox is and how to treat? Hers doesn't look like that. Today I will try to get a pic, if I can.

It is hard to get a pic with just two of us one to hold the beak open and apply meds, the other to hold her. I need a third for the camera. :/

I don't know much about it and I'm experimenting with treatments. So far Baytril seems to work best.

Well, I think I really screwed up as she is much worse. And it's a Holiday weekend so I can't even find a vet open where I'm not gonna spend 500.00 to walk in the door. I saw someone else on here in a previous thread was confused about what kind of copper sulphate to use too. She only had a drink of it last night but I'm sure it messed her up. I feel terrible and I'm sure she feels worse. My bad for not taking her to a vet in the first place. :(
