Yesterday one of my hens was broody this was her first time(I didn't need any chicks so I took her eggs away) however she still sat in the nest box she is in a coop and run with her sister the one that is broody is the dominant hen,anyways I left her in her box for the night. And when I awoke at 10am today she had a very very swollen face her eye were barley visible I gave her antibiotics. Is there anything else I can do I'll post a picture in 30 minutes.
