Emu pictures and stories.... post them here

It could be, I just got them yesterday, I called the breeder and they said that it was fine as long as they were eating drinking and going to the bathroom regularly, I've got them on vitamins/electrolytes... i notice he does it if you try and touch his chest, not if you pet his back though, he does it if something spooks him, or if you try to move him or pick him up, and sometimes he just does it randomly, so I don't know....it almost seems like a neurological tick to me...but I really have no idea

thank you for your help and your input

breathing is fine except when he does that then he makes a sort of grunting noise but only sometimes he chats with sister all day, he seems perfectly healthy except when he is doing his little tucked up motion, he does it for like a minute then he shakes his head and like 'snaps out of it'...I'm hoping the vitamins tlc and low stress environment will help....

You've seen the White-Backed Emu, here's another rare specimen, the Spiny Emu or Dromaius novaehollandiae electrocutemeius:

Kathy, oh no, I didn't realize I missed Fred's birthday 2 days ago. Hope he had a good day without the 'little ones' harassing him.
