Poor guy doesn’t even have feathers on his belly. His favorite things to do are eat, peck, eat, lay on my lap, peck and eat. Oh, and he also like to dig holes and lay in them.

He never got them after his down fell out. His brother doesn’t have any either. I don’t know if he will get them before he has to go to freezer camp. I think that is in about four weeks..or it’s supposed to be but I have a bad feeling that my daughter in law is going to abscond with him if she thinks it’s his last day.

We live in the same house, this is going to be a difficult thing to keep secret. I have found a friend who is going to let me do the processing on his property so at least my son and daughter in law won’t see it. Does anyone know what the resting thing is? I mean do you have rest the bird meat, and if so for how long? Do I put it in the fridge or the freezer? Is it absolutely necessary? Is it better to pull the feathers or skin it....oh my god, I am getting nauseous and sad just typing this....
