English Shepherd as Poultry Guardian

Now we have two Bobcat kittens that are mostly grown playing in woods and field south of house. Foxes may have been howling at those since in right area.

Deer hunter action and gut piles may be promoting redistribution of critters. Nobody appears to be hunting close to us so far this season.

Facing a problem making quick reactions difficult. Long work day and not getting home until after dark. In morning major rush to get kids ready for school. Luckily no dogs this evening.

We still have a dog issue, but they are not coming over after dark when we go to barn.

Dogs were in barn while I took Flo out for run. We pushed them back to fence where they held ground and did a lot more growling. I stood about 20' back from fence as owner came out trying to call dogs back. His dogs got braver than then starting to push forward and up to me. Then my dogs attacked driving them back. Their pit bull and a male husky stopped at fence trying to halt my dogs that all piled on those two. Four females were unloading on those two males kicking their butts before they finally ran back to their side. I must be careful; Pup Pup also looks to be sizing the male husky up as a potential boyfriend. I did not move until owner policed up his dogs (four this time). We did not speak. At this point I think it is better that way. When his dogs come across, he needs to pen them up like he said he would. And at some point, keep them there.

I take it male husky is intact?

He appears to be. He is the toughest dog besides the pitbull.
