Do they look like pure huskies to you? Too me they appear too gracile.

The one certainly appears at least majority husky. Enough husky blood for me to be suspicious of intentions until proven otherwise. I had a 3/4 husky, 1/4 border collie. An absolutely wonderful dog in every way except she had that prey drive when it came to small animals, controllable with careful training and supervision to avoid conflicts but the drive was still lurking. I guess the good thing in the video is that the dogs didn't seem people aggressive as much as noisy and probably hoping to push boundaries if they saw the opportunity.

They came in again. I cannot account for a game hen. We ran them off hard and had a protracted skirmish at and beyond property boundry. I want to meet owner. Ownership also more complex and interesting where dogs in question caused one group of neighbors to physically threaten another. Pup Pup is limping a bit. Lucy got caught briefly behind enemy lines, our pack rallied. All effort to get fencing panels in early AM.

Damn, another bad encounter.

Before that the owner of most of the dogs left a message on porch to call him. I did. he indicated will be keeping dogs more penned. After run to get fencing I came home to see nine dogs on me and voices could be heard at my pond. We began process to push dogs out when persons at pond (1 adult female and two kids between 5 and 10 years) appeared. Other pack got much more aggressive then and began to encircle my dogs and I. Lucy was in house. I did some brief talking with adult female. She indicated they were trying to contain dogs. I indicated she should not be coming onto our ground at least until dog issue resolved and then she should ask. She indicated she was showing kids the pond. I indicated I am a biologist and would show them everything if asked. She said she was a biologist. When pressed she indicated she worked with MDA or MDC, but would not indicate with which program. I know people in both so could easily verify with enough info. Her dogs got particularly aggressive so I had to get directly involved. We repelled pack immediately when I started to target exclusively the two dominant dogs. I was as ape doing everything but through crap. I'm a bit tired from the effort, too tired to remove 48 goat panels that are 5' x 20' by myself.

Government person would know rules on trespassing very well and would not try to BS me. Overall, not very considerate.

Sorry you have to keep going through this type of stuff. And I thought my neighbors were bad

I understand an occasional dog wandering off it's property, but packs from multiple owners is a dangerous situation waiting to happen. I'm sorry you have to be the one to attempt to rectify the situation. Trespassing is a crime. I personally would report them if it happens again. Things certainly are different than they used to be as far as neighbor relationships. At least here they are.

I live next to a location that has a high turnover rate with respect to who lives here. Few people know each. Even the longterm people do not talk to each other much. All that sets up for the "I don't care's".

Some are getting stand offish with me now when I took contact information over to them. In route driving I came across their whole pack running down the road.

This issue will take some time to resolve when everyone has jobs. That said, they are not dropping everything to resolve issue.

When we see someone have dog issues here, we may need to be more considerate of the fiasco they are living at the time. I'm experienced, yet this is all still a rolling disaster.

Sounds like an intentional conflict setup on the pack owners part.

I would suggest a few surveillance cameras around the property for your (legal) protection. If these owners refuse to contain their animals and it leads to livestock loss, or worse yet, a conflict with you or your kids then video evidence can show you were simply protecting your home or livestock when you were forced to repel the animals by whatever means you choose. If law enforcement has to be involved it will again show what you have dealt with.

I have pictures and videos from most encounters. I don’t think they are out to cause trouble. They may regard me as the bad guy.
