Cassidy,seeing how I only have one and it only being two days old, I could NOT answer this with any degree of certainty. I CAN tell you that Lucky behaves like any other chick in a brooder. He is on electrolytes with probiotics,and 24% non medicated chick starter. He also had some boiled goose egg for breakfast. He is very alert and energetic. The brooder light is 250 watts and placed at a height that gives 100 degrees directly beneath it. He seems to prefer the 90 degree range,I checked temp where he spends most of his time. It was actually...I have Asil eggs in my incubator due to hatch on the ninth...I haven't ever raised asils in a brooder,but I have heard its difficult...so I was just wondering...I wasn't sure if you've raised them in a brooder before...though it could also be different for you,because I live in New York...and idk where you live...but we get some pretty harsh winters. And out brooder is an outdoor brooder.
