Excel spreadsheet for tracking expenses and income from chickens

My wife updated the files. She found a couple more errors and fixed those too. Never can find them all when you want to. So just go to the website to get the newest version.

Marty, you can put the number of hens in whenever, you just won't get any calculations until they start laying egs. ( i beat the filter. just leave one of the g out of eggs (going to show up as rooster) and you will get egs.

All new updates will just be done and the newest version of the files posted to our website for easy access for anyone that wants it. if you have any problems just post them here. So I can keep a running log of all issues. I will hazard a guess and say that most, if not all, of the issues are fixed now. (crosses fingers) Let me know what you think.

Is there an easy way to move all of the data from the previous version into the new version? I tried to "copy" but the error message indicated that "copy" cannot be done with multiple cells. I really like the spreadsheets, and I'm really grateful for the new and improved updates. But DD would rather stay with the older version if she has to hand enter all of the data to the new worksheets.

I'm sure that I'm just missing some little trick...help me out chicken people!

I've been thinking about the same thing.
If all of the cells with data are in the same place, and the formulas are the same in the data cells (I'll assume this is true);

Then you can highlight all of your data, do a ctrl-C for copy, then move to the new sheet, and dow a ctrl-V for insert.

Hope that helps.

That doesn't work for me. I get an error box that states it can't move multiple cells at the same time. Is there another way? I realize that I'm living in the dark ages with Office 2000, yes 2000.
