SO cute! So, which 7 are you keeping? 😄
The THREE silkies for sure are two paints and a possible partridge.

Awww!! They're looking awesome! I see a Tolbunt Polish in the center that looks absolutely adorable! :love :love

I might of missed this, but how many chicks did you hatch out of the total eggs set?
This was done with a school teacher so some of the candling was iffy as she wanted to learn why some I said were dead wouldn't make it.

35 hatched. Many in the beginning weren't fertile, and I knew that was a chance with mine, but most of those were the breeders. At lockdown, several should have been pulled in week one, but since I had the teacher here, some that I'd have pulled we marked and left in there to show why they wouldn't make it. At the finish, three of mine had side air sacks and only one of those made it after an assist.

Super cute!!
Ok so what about the Polish?? Just 4 would be fun!!
There are other Polish in there too, and I know nothing about tolbunt vs regular ones. I had thought about raising some of those once upon a time, but when I heard there actually was a chicken breed less intelligent than a silkie, I chose to just stick with silkies. ☺️

I locked down the eggs last night! Hatch date is Saturday but with some bantams in there I did it a tad early. 39 eggs were in the incubator, I removed 2 that had quit, one had a bad air cell that I'd been watching from the start, the second is a breed I've routinely seen quitters from. I marked 4 that are questionable but left them in just in case.

So, 37 eggs in lockdown with 4 of those as maybes. Overall, great development of all the eggs that started, I had a lot of clears.

It was really easy using the app to turn the turners off and change the humidity.
