Expectant parent club! Where the pregnant people hang out.

That's horrible!! I would be furious, too!! They really should know better, especially since you've been so stressed out over this. I really hope that the two EIFs are gone and you don't have to worry about anything... how miserable!!

UGH! I feel like poo lately! Sooo tired all the time, I've been sleeping like 3 hours a day at work, and then I feel groggy and grumpy the rest of the day! Blech!

Today I felt icky from the time I woke up, head ache, and just yucky, so I took my blood pressure, it was 134/84 which isn't bad, but for me it's high, I am always 117-120 over 70-73. So I called my doc, nurse said not to worry unless it keeps rising, or I get swelling or blurry vision, late in the day it was 117/81, so much better.

I'm getting a lot more BH contractions that are slightly painful, but no more super painful contractions that are in a steady pattern, I keep hoping they will return and so I can walk non stop in hopes of keeping them going this time. I am sooo ready to not be pregnant anymore. DH keeps laughing at me because for 2 years we went through the heart ache of infertility where I sobbed because of how badly I wanted to be pregnant, and now I can't wait for pregnancy to be over, lol.

I'm just hoping I am a mommy by mothers day, that would be nice.

So Luke, this is your official eviction Notice, you are to be out by May 8th! And technically this was the due date from the 20 week ultrasound, but doc said he would keep original due date, and maybe he would be early.

Kelseygirl, I dont know how you feel about any kind of medical interventions, buuuuutt, if you really want to 'help things along', you could consider calling your Dr office and trying SUPER hard to talk your DR,or even a nurse pratitioner (or mid-wife) into doing a 'membrane sweep'. Its pretty uncomfortable, but if its done right, it could get you into labor within 48 hours or less, IF your cervix is 'ripe', or dialated at all. I've had it done with 3 of my 5 pregnancies, and it has worked for me each time! All they do is use a finger or two and go right into the opening of your cervix and 'sweep' their finger around in a circle to detatch the membrane of the amniotic sac away from your cervix. I know that sounds scary, but its really not that bad, and if your desperate to get baby out, its worth the pain and time spent. But you may have to really whine and beg to have it done, and usually they wont do it until you are at least 39 weeks along. If thats a no-go idea for you, theres always doing a whole LOT of mattress dancing to get things stirred up and moving (not my fav at 9 months along, but I was willing to try anything at one point,

before my 'sweep' ).
It would be sooo cool if you had him on Mothers day!! Or even a day before, just so you can hold him in your arms (instead of in your belly!) on your first Mothers day!

What a great feeling! I love hearing the heartbeat for the first time - there's just such a sense of reassurance that everything is ok. May 25th is a GREAT date too, that's my DD's birthday!! It'll be lucky for you!

see my dr again today. I hope something has changed, but I am sure it has not.

So I've been impatiently waiting for my belly to look like something more than an overdose on brownies.. and, and.. last night it finally looked baby-ish!

Still not noticeable unless I've got my shirt up and you know that something should be forming there

But I've been waiting, so it's obvious! DH thought it was the funniest thing that I was so excited. Mainly because he still doesn't see anything

Thanks, but my doc doesn't like to interviene at all, unless it's medically needed, and I'm just being a big baby, I know it's best for him to stay in for another week or two, I'm just hoping he will come early.

OH man, anybody else already having a bad day? Woke up nauseous, got half way through getting ready before throwing up, couldn't find anything DH needed for today. DH has school today, so I have to borrow one of my in-laws cars for my doctor appointment, but the Explorer wouldn't start this morning, so FIL had to take the Solstice convertable to his interview, leaving me with a Ginormous ford F350 to take to my appointment, that I'm not even sure I'll be able to park in the tiny parking lot! Only good thing that has happened so far is that I found the nursing cami I bought weeks ago, but couldn't find to put in my hospital bag. Watch, I will go into labor today, and we will be scrambling to find coverage for my work, and we will have to use the giant truck, and I accidently have DH's cell, so we will have to track him down during his clinicals.... Ugh, is it the weekend yet?

Hey everyone....I have to leave for my appt in two hours....
barnie.gif
I am trying hard not to worry...and I was lucky enough to find a "secret" FB group about EIF's which I was finally able to join this morning. Reading about all of the other women going through this same thing is helping to ease my mind a little bit.

I am just hoping these two markers are GONE today when they check!

If not, they'll have to refer to me Spokane (like they should have done already!) Which may mean another 6-8 weeks of waiting.
