7 weeks. It just hit me today I have 7 weeks until my due date. I feel like I have close to nothing accomplished!

The shower yesterday was great. Baby Green got some really cute clothes, socks, and shoes, a jogging stroller (which we plan to use all the time since hubby likes the big all-terrain wheels), a car seat, one of those spinning seat play things, a baby cart for storing supplies, and more I'm probably forgetting.

Didn't get any diapers or "supplies". My mama's side of the family and the church want to throw us a shower, too, so that will be great!

Had my appointment yesterday - everything with both baby girl and I are doing great! Weight, measurements, blood pressure, heart rate, etc. And the dreaded time has come, next appointment, 10/3/2011 - my "checks" start

And I have my strep B test.

I told DH about it last night, the whole getting checked part, and he was like "Why aren't you excited!? That means you're that much closer to the end!" - as I'm going "Hellooooo, girly part violations for the next how many appointments and then pushing a child out!? Fun!? What planet are you from!?"

His response - "Well, when I get like 50, I have to get my prostate checked..."

...Oh, why do I bother? haha! He was full of himself all night last night

33.5 weeks pregnant and SICK! Aarrrgggghhhh!
Seems like just a cold (congested and sore throat) but am vomiting from the post nasal drip. And then no sleep on to of no sleep makes me one unhappy girl.
Fortunately is now and not at delivery time.

So, I'm officially 7 days past when my period was due. I've taken a couple of tests, always first thing in the morning and all have come out negative. HOWEVER, I took one yesterday morning and I swear there was the faintest (I'm mean faintest) positive line. But, I could also have been imagining it. UGH. I'm going to take another test tomorrow, trying not to drive myself crazy. Keep your fingers crossed for me!!
