Expectant parent club! Where the pregnant people hang out.

Here is a better photo. she has jaundice so we are still stuck at the hospital but we should get to go home in the next few days.
Congrats on the new family member. Hopefully you make it home soon.

On Friday at my 36 week appointment I was told I have preeclampsia. I had to do the 24 hour urine sample which I will find the results out on Wed. Sunday I went in and did a non-stress test cause my blood pressure was reading high on my FIL's automatic cuff. My BP went down when they had me lay on my side. The doctor said my palates are low (cells that form clots) and they are keeping an eye on them but sometime in the next 2 weeks I will be having my son. He is hoping I make it two weeks but isn't sure yet. My husband did ask about being induced vs c-section and it seems like for me the c-section would be better. The doctor said he could control the bleeding during the c-section when he removes the placenta whereas he can't if I'm induced and it rips away. So any day I may have to rush in for a c-section. If I can hold out I won't have to be sent down to the bigger hospital that is 2 1/2 hours away. He said the baby should be fine though since I'm far enough along.

I went in Wed. morning for my usual appointment and found out I was having an emergency c-section later that day. My son Archer was born 2 days from 37 weeks and weighted 4lbs. 10 oz. Once I get time to upload pictures I will.

Here is a picture of my son Archer.
He is adorable! Looks so sleepy too. :) I went to L&D Saturday. I had been getting contractions since about 7am and they went from roughly 12 minute intervals to 3-4 minute intervals by 6pm. So after a few hours at the hospital they determined that my contractions just weren't strong enough to do much and weren't likely to get stronger anytime soon so they sent me home. I currently am sitting at 1-2 cm dilated with contractions on and off throughout the day. Yay.

Here are a few newer pictures, finally all done with the jaundice, (we were at the hospital for 6 days- so not too long) now we are just getting used to "no sleep mode" haha

I will post pics when I get home but Logan was born at 0307 this morning. My water broke around 1030 last night and he DH about lost his mind with getting me to the car. I went from random little contractions every 20 or 30 minutes to strong ones every 3 in a blink.

We are still in the hospital and Logan and I are doing great. Little guy is exhausted and just wants to sleep so far. :)
