Expectant parent club! Where the pregnant people hang out.

I barfed up spaghetti yesterday--I think it was too much for my heartburn but it sounded sooo good. :\\ It wasn't as good coming up and I think I'll avoid it for a while after that.

I'm not looking forward to the sugar drink I'll probably pass out! LOL

I know I just started looking on Target's website and saw all of the furniture, strollers, car seats, toys, blankets, clothes, etc and it's a bit overwhelming. My parents are such pack rats, they have my baby clothes from 1980 and they can't wait to give me some of them (if it's a girl) LOL

funny...I was freaking out the last 6 months and suddenly I feel calm and ready to have this baby. I guess we all go at different paces! I was just thinking the other day how we have 10-14 weeks left...due the week of mothers day, how appropriate

How cool! So what's on your Mother's Day wish list--besides the baby? My MIL was giving my DH crap because she was reminding him that just because the baby's not here yet I'm still technically a "mom" so I'll need a mother's day present. When my mom was pregnant with me and Mother's Day came, my dad got her a rose bush. It's now over 30 years old and still growing in their yard.

I will ask DH for one or a tree, I think.

I wasn't thinking that way, I guess we are moms already huh? I love the rose bush story....I have always wanted a concord grape vine

My first baby was due in Aug. so when Mothers day came around everyone was treating me like a mother and giveing me little gifts like they do all the other mothers in church and later when we went out to eat. It felt weird and I had never thought of myself in that way.

Hubby thinks it's funny that He will have Luke for fathers day, but I'll just be as big as a house for mothers day. He better not think that he is gonna get off easy this year just because Luke is still inside of me, LOL.

That's beautiful! When I was pregnant with my DD, my husband didn't think he needed to do anything because she wasn't born yet (she was born less than 2 weeks later!). At least my mom and MIL knew that I deserved a mothers day!

My husband and a lot of other people told me Happy Mother's Day last year. It was my mom that said "you're not a mother YET."

She's usually not such a party pooper.

There still weren't any gifts or anything, so this will be my first "real" Mother's Day. DH doesn't do well with gifts, so we'll see how it goes.

I got a bunch of peoynies and roses that first year, from our backyard lol. It was a nice thought and for my DH, that was really trying.

Great! Despite the below zero temps we've had the last few days I got TEN eggs today! I don't think any are fertile but my Coronations are now laying!
