I do.... I am only around 7 or 8 weeks along and my back is already hurting a little when I stand to long doing dishes or cooking.. Walking doesn't bother me though... Just standing still.

And my first appointment is tomorrow... I'm excited. It seems like it took forever to get here.

Hmmm....I wonder if massages are "safe" during pregnancy? Mine hurts standing up more than anything...

Congrats on your first appointment....is it the ultrasound too or just the pee in a cup & all of the blood work?

Thanks!! I honestly don't know what all will be done.. I do know that I will be more than a little dissappointed if it's just pee'ing in a cup after waiting a month to be seen. I have pee'd on enough sticks that I shouldn't have to pay them to pee in a cup... LOL
Massages are safe as far as I know... You just have to be careful with foot massages I think.. Something about certain pressure points or something like that.. Will have to google it.. Google has been my friend since I found out..

A Lot of places offer Maternity Massages. The place I got to get my 4D ultrasounds offers them, and If I didn't have issues with strangers rubbing my Nakey body, I would get one, LOL

Oh, trust me... I have issues with it too.. But when it comes to a massage, well, a massage is sort of like a Klondike bar to me.. What would I do-oo-oo for a massage?? LOL

Well.....here I am. Ready, (but not ready) to share my news.

To start, my hubby and I have 8 kids between us- he had 3 before me, I had 2 before him, and him and I have 3 boys together. Life is crazy, very stressful (we are self employed) and already very, very full. The kids still in the home are 13, 11, 6, 3, 2, so lots of work still with all the little guys. Most of it falls on me because hubby works everyday (holidays, weekends, nights, days, birthdays, anniversaries- literally, everyday)

I found out 2 weeks ago that I'm preggers again. So I'm about 6 weeks along now, but I havent told anyone yet. Not even hubby. Honestly, I dont think he could handle the news right now. This is unexpected and kinda scary for me. I thought we were done having babies and we were looking forward to some more freedom soon, but I guess thats not going to happen now. I really dont even know how I'm gonna break the news to him.

I'm sorry for sounding so down, I wish I could be all happy and excited and tell everyone in the world, but I just cant. I think I'm hoping I can come here and be excited and gab and whatnot, without the fear of anyone in my family catching wind of the news before I'm ready to tell them (I want to keep quiet till I'm about 16 weeks or so). Luckily for me, I'm the only one SUPER crazy about chickens, so I'm the only one in my family who posts here regularly.

Right now, my biggest fear is the baby will be a boy. I already have 4 boys, and I KNOW this will be the last baby (getting my tubes tied this time around) and I am soooo DESPERATE for one more girl, (my oldest is a girl and it was/is amazing to have a daughter, love my boys too, but, c'mon, 4 is enough boys for me!).

My next biggest concern is our ages, I'm only 33, but daddy will 51 when this one comes along. I worry about how a child will feel growing up with a father who is so much older than most dads. But we'll just have to make due best we can. He's pretty healthy and has lots of energy, but who knows what the future will bring.

Anyways, I really am glad this thread is here so I can come and talk babies and symptoms and pick up a few tips as well.

AND CONGRATULATIONS! I hope everything goes well telling your family and your hubby doesn't stress out to bad. We're here if you need to vent, or just want to babble.

Well congrats! Right now you may see this as a Lemon, but like the saying says, make Lemonaid! If this is gonna happen, you might as well let yourself be excited, right? Besides, people will feed off the feeling you put out, so be excited, and those around you will be excited for you! Hope this pep talk is working, lol

. Besides it's not uncommon anymore for parents to have kids well into their fifty's, my dads friend was 54 when he welcomed "Ooops" into his family, lol. I really hope it's a girl this time around, this group could use more girls, I think the boys on their way, outway the girls right now. Hope we can help you get excited, I had the opposite problem, DH and I tried for this baby for 2 years, so I had a hard time getting excited, because my brain couldn't wrap itself around the idea that it is really happening. But around 18 weeks I started getting excited, because I felt a lot of movement, then I found out at 19 weeks we are having a boy, so that made it very real, as did the 4D ultrasound, now I can't wait to hold him. Think happy thoughts

Hey all- you can count me in! After a miscarriage in November, I am nearly six weeks and feeling every bit pregnant

Just came from my first appointment. Everyone seems to think all looks good on ultrasound, so everything should go well with this one. We couldn't be any more excited, DH was drilling me about names already last night. "How can you not have a favorite yet?!" He presses. "Well darling, I am currently a roller-coaster of emotions as this moment and couldn't have a coherent thought if you paid me. So forgive me if I may need a few weeks to decide!!!!" Sheeeeeesh.

I am soo happy you get to rejoin the club!!!

Just wait until the second trimester comes, I don't even remember the last coherent thought I had

. I Used to be able to do math in my head too, but that is a thing of the past, LOL. Last Night DH got really annoyed with me, because he was going over the new work schedule with me, and I just couldn't comprehend how it was going to work, LOL. Oh, and being able to spell is no longer an ability anymore either, I was spelling out Cider the other day, to ask SIL if the kids could have some without them knowing what I was talking about, I kept saying "Can they have C-Y-D-E-R, SIL caught on, but DH just kept asking what I was talking about,
