Expectant parent club! Where the pregnant people hang out.

*sets up her nest box and threatens to turn broody*

I should be used to this by now, but oh well. It's preventing empty nest, 17 y/o is heading to college this summer, sniff sniff.

Two weeks and a day until my first ultrasound

Please come faster - I'm dying in anticipation!

Thanks to ginger ale and reminding myself to keep my stomach at least a little full, I've had no nausea meds today! Gross feeling, BUT I'm still alive to tell about it!

This thread has been kind of quite today, I miss all the updates

I know what you mean!! I keep checking in to see whose written what, and.... nothing!! Then on days I'm not on the computer, 5 pages get written!! lol

Glad your nausea is a little bit better; it gets better eventually, promise!

When you get your first ultrasound, I will be having my c-section! Not looking forward to the c-section but the baby will be here!!! Time has flown for me, I hope it will for you too.

Here is my update:

I have not had to work much during the whole pregnancy (while I was smaller and more comfortable) except for around Christmas and every Saturday. Now for some reason, right befor I am going to have the baby (when I am a lot bigger and miserable), I have been scheduled to work all week!

On a good note, I got my Medela Pump In Style in the mail today!!

I also had to go to walmart today and get an even bigger bra since my "girls" seem to not want to stop growing lol. I am hoping this will mean better milk production than last pregnancy. I can drink over a gallon of water a day and still feel thirsty. I actually use a gallon jug to drink out of at work to keep up with how much water I am getting a day and most days I drink a gallon and a half.

ETA: Just had to mention that I just finished off a 48 oz bottle of apple juice in the last hour. MAN I AM THIRSTY!!!! LOL

Of course they would schedule you to work right at the end of pregnancy! I'm really hoping I can keep active towards my later months; that was the only thing that kept me feeling really good before. I would sit down and start hurting!!

Also, I LOVE my Medela Pump in Style - good thing too, since I felt like I was attached to that thing at the .... um, hip. I never had a problem with enough milk production (thankfully), but I was a little miffed when I realized that my baby could sleep through the night, and I still had to get up to pump!! I also remember not wanting to nurse at a friend's house because I didn't want to get milk on her couch... I would soak through a pad on the side which I wasn't nursing on. Back on topic - the pump in style was an amazing pump for me - people always talk about how much they hated pumping, or how much it hurt, but I never minded it. Hope you have a great supply this time - the pump should help you a lot with that too. I would nurse on one side and pump on the other before my daughter was nursing on both sides- it helped bring my supply up a lot (and relieved a lot of the short-term pain of rocks instead of breasts!).
