Expectant parent club! Where the pregnant people hang out.

kelsey - 4 weeks! aghhh! DH just moved the closet (since we were using the spare room for a closet) and now we don't really have a spare room

. So he got that done, now just to paint the room and get the crib and all his gear in there.

Get a move on it little lady! LOL!

We had the crib with crib set, all set up by week 12 (we were a little excited). Then not too long after we bought dressers. Now we just need to hang the valences, and paint and install shelves. Also hoping to get a glider chair at my shower to put up there, otherwise my rocking lazy boy will go into his room. Everything else gear wise will have to wait until I get it at the shower, or have to buy it after the shower.

I hear ya!! My spare room was emptied and painted gender neutral weeks ago. Already had a crib.. But I have purchased the changing table and a bassinet.. It has taken a huge amount of restraint not to buy more!! Although I am sure once I find out if it's a boy or girl, SOMETHING(s) color appropriate will find its way into the house!
On another note... I had another appointment this morning. I went ahead and had them draw blood to see what my risk of Down Syndrome is since I am what they consider advanced maternal age at 36..

I should have those results next week. But the best part of my appointment was that I got to schedule my 20 week gender scan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I get that done in 3 weeks on April 18th at 9:30am....

YAY! How exciting!!! I was impatient, and wanted to know the sex before a family Christmas party, so I paid for a 3D ultrasound a week before my DR office gender scan, lol.

I know!! I had thought of doing that too. But the closest 3D place is 2 hours away.. So I think I will pass. Besides, I was planning to schedule my regular scan for no later than the 20th... But they gave me the 18th without me even asking for a date. My dads birthday is the 24th and he wants a grandson pretty bad since he already has 2 granddaughters by my brother... So, if it turns out to be a boy, I could surprise my daddy on his birthday by giving him some sort of gift addressed to PawPaw from his grandson.

The clinic called and they need to move my appointment.

My appointment is still on the 30th but at 7:30am (earliest time available o the same day) in the hopes I'd be out and back to work by 8:30 (I told them I have to be back for court by 8:30am).

Hopefully, this will work for my DH...or we'll have to wait another month.

I e-mailed him about 1/2 hour ago and no response.

I guess they only have two ultrasound techs and they are both booked solid and one had some sort of emergency so she's gone until Friday so this other lady who is only "part-time" is only doing morning appointments in this other tech's absence (the other one only works in the afternoon). They said this appointment is a minimum 45 minute exam.

How frustrating! But at least you were able to stay on the same day!

Hopefully everything will work out with your DH's schedule!
Maybe he's trying to get everything squared away before getting back in touch with you, don't stress yourself

30th seems to be a popular day for whatever reason, I've got my first ultrasound at 8am that morning!
