Hey everyone, just taking time to come up for air befor I jump back into being a mama of a tiny baby again.
Here are some pics. Sorry it has taken me so long. Recovery has been rough this time around.

Few hours after being born.

Next day after they made me get out of bed so Ian could have it all to himself! lol

After we got home. My sister thought he looked like Count Dracula since his collar would not lay down. She made it stand up even more.

Took this one this morning after a rough night up alllll night last night.

After things calm down and I get the hang of things around here again, I will have more time to check in and see how all yall are doing. Good hopefully.

I thought I would share something that I have been thinking this whole pregnancy....

I work as a vet tech for cats and the doctor I work with was telling me a while back about a study that was done on pregnant cats and their young:
the study found that kittens born from a mother who had a hard, stressful pregnancy (like feral mothers who live in the wild, always on the lookout for predators and such) had a higher incidence of having high strung kittens that have a very strong fight or flight response and are harder to tame. Even once tame and brought into a home, those cats remain throughout their lives to be very high strung, skiddish behavior. even after living a calm, happy indoor cat life they remained that way (I have one of those cats).
So I have strived to remain calm and not worry throughout my pregnancy to hopefully avoid having a high strung child. maybe this doesn't make sense to anyone else but me

but if there is any truth or correlation between high stress mamas having high stress babies then I do not want to contribute to that.

just take comfort in knowing that fate or god, whichever you may believe, will decide how life will go and we are just along for the ride. Take it easy and take comfort in knowing that you are lucky to become a mama and all will work out as intended.

LOL, for me right now it's

. Yesterday DH and I decided to move!!! We were approved to move to a brand new house down the street from my In-laws and work, it's smaller than our duplex now, but more manageable and NO STAIRS!!! Also comes with 5 acres of property. It gets it's city inspection late this week, then we can start moving in, and we can take the rest of the month to do so. Man I hope he doesn't come early now!!!

Algo, Ian is Beautiful!!! Hope you two get some rest today.

It's crazy, yesterday DH and I were talking about how this could be Lukes birthday month, and if no,t then for sure NEXT MONTH!!!!

your baby shower is soon too huh?

nice photos from the other day, but if you mention 1 more time that it was 80 degrees I am gonna come down there and smack you!

I realize that I will never get to wear my short sleeve maternity stuff until maybe after shane is born. I will go through my entire pregnancy in a hoodie! oh well, atleast it will be warmer when he is born.
