)) I have a while to go yet, but I think I will certianly be catching up with you when time gets closer to my shower! DH and I are doing a farm theme as well, but were doing Farm Babies by Nojo... I can't get over how adorable everything you've done is!

Q's for all those knowledgable in chicken farming & PG. I just found that some of the hens in our backyard flock have ?mites? by their cloaca.
1. What do you use as an antiparasitic for your chickens?
2. Do you apply it vs. having DH or someone else?
3. Should I avoid eggs x __ time afterward?

A member of our WA thread recommended Permethrin dust along with DE. Permethrin is a Category B, but the application is topical, not systemic (via eggs).

Any help is appreciated. I haven't dewormed my flock to date as their had never been any problems before.
