DD had lab work last week(32 weeks) doctor called yesterday but DD missed it. we called first thing this morning and they said the nurse will call. they never called. we called again just before noon. they said the nurse will call...Its now 3 pm and we are still waiting. we are on pins and needles... I wish they would hurry up and call

I know RFF was planning on farm animals too.
We decided on a retired Pottery Barn design- Jungle Safari. Gender neutral (we picked it out before we found out).. That way we'll be able to use it for #2

Ok, dreams. Oh, dreams...

Last week I had a dream where there was a vagrant man who broke a beer bottle on stabbed my abdomen with the shards, killing the baby. I somehow turned him around and snapped his neck, then off to the hospital. It wasn't scary, really, just more going through what motions I would do after I killed him. I had to 'flee the scene' to get to the hospital, was I suppose to call the police on my way there, would it still be considered self defense if I knowingly did the move to kill him, etc. -- When I was telling a co-worker, she said 'welcome to the world of Mommy Dreams.'

Last night I had a ?good? dream where I was visiting a friend (who recently delivered in real life) in San Diego. All the sudden DH & I were home & had delivered & Baby was ready for his first meal (not sure why it wasn't in the hosp or why there was nothing of the delivery, but, hey, it was a dream). Anyway, he latched on my breast great & ate & then I pumped from both breasts & got about an ounce of milk. Was pretty happy that Baby got a full meal & I got a little more milk from our first outing.

How different these dreams are. Pretty crazy. Any odd dreams from my fellow threadmates? On one of those baby sites it said pregnancy dreams were pretty common.

I had one last night - and it was super weird. It involved my G-Ma's recent passing and impending birth of Baby Girl.

In the dream, I had like a whole roomful of things that belonged to my g-ma, and i used them. Some pieces of furniture - a big oak desk, a walnut oak table (which in my dream was the one I bought in RL at an auction for $3), and even some shoes and my incubators supposedly were originally g-mas.

G-mas nine kids came over to "help themselves" and I explained I was using the stuff, that gma had given it all to me before her passing. They didn't listen to me, and took the furniture pieces, some other smaller stuff, and a necklace, but left me 3 pairs of slip on shoes that had belonged to gma. They also left the incubator, that was incubating my baby IN AN EGG!

They told me as soon as baby girl was done hatching, to clean the incubator and they'd pick it up.

TALK about weird! Growing my HUMAN baby in a chicken egg??

I've got my first ultrasound planned for next Friday. They want to do one very early this time as a confidence boost for us. I'm not complaining!

my grandma named her youngest son because of a dream...

she was prego with her youngest son (no names even thought about at this time) when she got the german measles and her husband was killed in an oil rig accident... Her husband came to her in her dream and told her not to worry about Leonard Keith. that he was going to be ok... sh that is what she named him

That's our plan too!

I think picking this out was the first thing I did after finding out we were pregnant!

With my first I had some pretty wacko dreams....like breastfeeding a cat and carrying my baby around in a water balloon. With my 2nd I got her name from a dream I had had. This time, I Haven't had too many crazy dreams. In one I was an FBI agent and hubby says I was talking in my sleep. He tried to wake me up, and I guess I said "not now hunny, momma is getting the bad guys". Also this time around I have been having very "steamy" dreams..... hmmmm

38 weeks yesterday... and I am very ready! Just posted belly pics on facebook and everyone is commenting saying how huge I am.....gee thanks
