Wow, I never knew about baby moons! cool!

Does it count if my husband and I are taking just a day??? We're going to Roger's Open Air flea marke and livestock auction this Friday (and I'm taking fresh baked goods to auction off) but we have a sitter for the entire afternoon and evening, and meeting up with a group of friends

Does that count???

Hey all! I'll be seven weeks on Friday. July 21st is my 8 week appointment. So excited! The morning sickness has been in full force.

Thankfully, I called the midwife yesterday and she prescribed me Zofran because I was starting to get dehydrated from the morning sickness. We'll see if we can keep this a secret -- I generally look like death warmed over when I'm this sick. I am hoping the next month and a half flies by -- I don't particularly like the first trimester.

So excited for those who are getting close! RFF loved the cake!

And that is too funny that she was being so silly during the appointment! I think they get to the point they know it's there, whether it's the ultrasound wand or the doppler, and it just does not float their boat! Our last ultrasound, the tech was getting all these cute shots of her feet and she was just kicking and kicking and kicking the thing! To the same point as PitterPatterPalace, coming off of my belly and all!

so what is everyone up to today?

So far I have made 4 and a half dozen chocolate chip cookies, working on making Snickerdoodles now, plan to make Lemon cookies, chocolate cookies, monster cookies, and no bake cookies yet today. All to take with us to sell at Rogers on Friday. I'm also making fudge.

Tomorrow I will make my fry pies (lemon, strawberry, apple, and blueberry) and bake my regular pies. (pumpkin, apple, and blueberry). Again, all to take to Rogers Auction

Working on the ingredient labels that I have to put on the packages now.

Hoping everything sells well, as the profits all go into our Baby Fund for anything we need that we don't get at our shower.

I only know of Baby-moons being like honeymoons. Of course, we name ours a bit differently, mini-moon for actual 'honeymoon' as it was only 3hr away in Vancouver, BC. the next yr is was our Anni-moon-iversary which was the big cruise. This year will be the baby-moon. All the other vacations are really just long weekends or if longer than a week, to visit family in MN or CA. I'm thinking San Diego so the flight is short as long as I'm still able to fly...

I have had a productive day! Besides working for 10 hours, I got my daughter a SS card so I can actually register her for kindergarten!

I also made an appointment for the dog to go to the vet, for my DD to have her 5 yo well-baby check-up and for me to have a prenatal massage

The only thing that would make it better is if I had one of Quail's pies to go with it!

Ok... off to make dinner! Any volunteers??
