We're back from our evening ultrasound! Baby is STILL a girl HAHA! she's as breech as they get right now, with most of her body on my left side and her legs and feet coming up my right.

Her estimated weight right now is 4lbs 9ozs.


we didn't get any real good pics of her - just a couple of her feet, one of her hand, and another of her girl parts. We did not get to see her face. She has her back to my navel and is facing my spine, so we couldn't even get a profile!

Yes...but it will cut 2-3 weeks off the time I get to spend with her....although with the new information about an additional 6 weeks of leave if I have a c-section...that wouldn't be as bad...except I'm expected to pay my own insurance premiums after 30 days while I'm on unpaid leave.....​

Off to head toward bed for me. Very excited for the morning- get to see Baby! Also I'll have a better idea on whether the previa will push me toward needing a cesarian. I'm hoping not. Sleep well, my fellow petrie dishes

Yeah I didn't notice that part until I got home tonight and I think that's what it says...or at least that's how I'm interpreting it...which will really suck....what I don't understand is how DH & I can both work for years and together we've contributed over $60k into insurance but yet having the baby will be a minimum of $5,000 WITH insurance!?!?

Not to mention that I've had my current job for 4 years (with my insurance that comes out of my check every month) and they (the county) can't pay for me to keep my insurance for 3 months while I'm gone?

Why??

Because my 3 year old ran out into the kitchen and got into cookies and ripped open a bag of brown sugar.

Thanks for all of the congrats! The hubby had been saying it was a girl and calling the baby a "her" but I didn't have a feeling either way what she was. Her Aunt (my sister) is extremely excited it's a girl! Here is a blurry picture of her face:

We have the nursery painted a neutral tan color with white trim so we can get more use out of the efforts of painting it. We plan to go pick up her crib today or tomorrow. It's already paid for, but I didn't have a way to get it home when I bought it. Here's her nursery set I just bought:
