I also like that it just stops at 33-36 weeks! I mean I get that 36 is technically full term but what about the next few weeks. Though when I hit 37 weeks I have to admit I was DONE. Which was hard as I didn't deliver him until almost 42 weeks. It's so ironic because I couldn't wait to not be pregnant and then it was a little sad not having those movements etc inside. Oh pregnancy how you mock us so!

Yeah I'm 37 weeks now and DONE! It does not help that I've been measuring two weeks ahead or that it's been 90+ degrees outside all weekend, either...the baby is squirming around a lot this morning...I think she's hungry. I'm going to town a little early so I can grab some feed (for myself) and some Starbucks before my appointment. I have no appetite at all but I know I have to eat.

Oh and HELL NO to going to 42 weeks. Shoot, I'd be measuring at 44 by then and probably in the fetal position myself!

Yeah...... I was in a pregnancy swim class and there was a class that finished before ours and we were supposed to wait until we were told that we could go into the pool which was lovely and heated. Well at that point i didn't care about much of anything except feeling comfortable. So as soon as I got there I was in that pool. There was a girl who was at 20 wks and barely showing. She said to me "You HAVE to wait until they tell you it's ok."

I just turned and said "When are you due?" "Oh in July why?" "Right well I was due over a week ago so you go ahead and wait for permission because I'm DONE waiting for anything!"

I thought someone was going to have to scrape her jaw off the floor.

Luckily we gave birth a few days later and the labor was really smooth and I think it was about 7 hours from start to finish. No drugs. No hospital. Just midwives and DH. It was a really lovely birthing center. Sort of surreal actually. It was kind of like giving birth in a hotel/house if that makes sense. I think we're going to do a home birth next time though as we live in the stix now!

So um...does anyone else have to fight the urge daily to NOT stuff your fist down your dh's throat???

Hehe. you guys are funny!

My u/s, OB, glu test seemed like so long ago now, even though it was only on Friday.

U/S was great! No more previa!!!! Just a low-lying placenta- woo hoo! I can try for a vaginal delivery.

Yay! Baby's still a boy

His left kidney was improving but right kidney was worse.

They'll do another u/s at 32wk to see it again. He may have to have surgery after delivery if it's still the case. We'll just have to wait and see.

The OB appt was ok... Lost a couple pounds from 3wk ago (but remember they said for me to watch my carb intake as I had gained ?9? lbs from the month before). Been wearing my compression hose some- so my feet are nice and non-swollen at the end of the day. OB just stressed I wear them for the flights I'm taking soon.

Did the glu test- had the lemon-lime glucola. Don't know the results but the drink wasn't too bad.

Also, this weekend stopped at a couple maternity stores with DH, MiL, & FiL getting ready for the baby shower when I'm in my hometown on Sunday. Got a dress, a sweater, 4 nice shirts, and 2 tees. Turned out to be a good day- I hate shopping.

I'm right there with you on hating shopping! And even more so because I have to buy massive clothes now

Glad everything went well with everything though! And so happy to hear there is no more previa!!!

Okay, so I don't know if the fact that I got not one wink of sleep last night is the real cause - but I cannot decide on a carseat. And I'm seriously at my wits' end about it
sad.png
Anyone have one they absolutely love? I want a convertible so I don't have to buy more than one car seat.. and something reasonable with price..

We're going to have a seperate infant car seat, but other than that, I got nothing

This is the one I got. The carseat goes from the base and snaps right into the stroller.... So if we go anywhere in DH's truck, we will just swap the base from my car over to his, or buy a second base. Not sure on that yet. But with this set-up, I don't have to worry about taking her out of her carseat just to put her in the stroller or vice versa. I love it so far. It is light and easy to operate. It isn't bulky at all which is nice, since I have a small car, plus should be easy to maneuver in stores and around town. And it will fit behind the seat in DH's truck.

Oh and it folds up with the flick of a wrist and it's light enough to put in your trunk while you hold the baby. I guess you can tell I really like my stroller, huh?

Honestly, about 5 mins ago I was about to actually murder him. I came on here to save his life.

Good choice!

I fought the urge BAD in the first trimester... But things have been ok since. I think after I bit his head off so many times in the beginning, he saw the error of his ways...
