Expectant parent club! Where the pregnant people hang out.

Well, I've gained another pound...my blood pressure was 110/60 and my temp was (and always is) 98.6

I am 1cm dilated, 70% effaced. The baby is measuring around 7lbs right now. Everything else looks good with her!

Yes, the two EIF's are still there....but the doctor doesn't seem to think it's too big of a deal.

That's awesome! Are you still considering trying to have a vaginal delivery?

I'm really undecided. My doctor (who ONLY normally does c/s & high-risk) offered to help me deliver vaginally if I wanted--which is a huge deal because he NEVER offers that...BUT I get an additional 6 weeks off of work if I have a c-section.

The doctor is still thinking the baby will be 8+ lbs as well...

I still have the c-section scheduled for the 16th and the doctor said today either a c-section or an induction on the 16th.

Well it's totally your decision. I had a friend who opted for the c section because she got extra time off but then found out that she really did need that time off because the surgery was really hard on her. I think that it's up to the individual to decide. People get WAY too judgmental of other people's decisions. I think they forget they're not the ones actually going through the experience and even if their situation is similar it's never exactly the same!

I can say that vaginal birth was intense, crazy and amazing but I would've loved my little man no less had I had to have a csection!

Do whatever makes sense to you and just make sure that little girl has a safe trip into this world.

Ditto!

Well I took more fresh baked pies, cookies, and two loaves of zucchini bread in to the auction today!

I hope they do well!

I ran out of sugar, so didn't have the berry pies to take in - and there were A LOT of disappointed people there today! Apparantly my berry pies were a HUGE hit last week!

Definitely have to make sure I take berry pies in next week

Also, a local feestore let me have an "account" with them, so I was able to get feed even between pays. Today, she told me she'd take baked goods in trade for payments on my account! HAHA How cool is THAT?!

Too bad I couldn't make that same arrangement with a store for diapers!

Anyone need to buy a diaper bag, still? I have been waiting THREE weeks for mine to come from Babies R Us--it came today and it's NOT what I ordered!

I paid $60 for it (w/o shipping) and I don't have time to send it back (and wait for another one to get here) before the baby gets here....

This is the one I wanted:

This is the one I got:

So if anyone is interested, let me know--I'd like to buy a different one ASAP.

Today is chicken processing day! I am feeling good and very ready! We processed a test chicken last night and roasted him up whole on the grill. A pregnant lady's delight. Fingers crossed that my nausea doesn't show its face today!
