My platlets are up to 67,000 as of 4am this morning, so they,re getting better. They think at least 24 to to 48 hours more

it was really scary yesterday, they were talking about trying to preserve my brain function with s certain medicine.

Hubby took me fishing today. We caught a few perch, but nothing really worth keeping. Going out on the boat was like going on vacation. I feel so refreshed, even though it was 94 degrees out.

So, here am I... all 27.5 weeks of me.

I had slightly low platelets at 125,000 before surgery & they routinely draw blood every 4 hours afterwards. At the next blood draw they had dropped to 27,000 and then 1 hour later, 15,000. They started me on medication to preserve brain & central nervous system function. The scary thing--I overhead my doctor telling the helicopter pilot to induce coma if they needed to.....
