Expectant parent club! Where the pregnant people hang out.

I'm feeling super weird tonight. Don't know if it's from the all day shopping with my BFF, or I'm just over heated, or if it's the beginnings of labor?

and I don't want to make a false run to the hospital...but i'm feeling super weird.

TMI warning!

My uh hooha? feels tingly? not itchy, not feeling any discharge, not feeling any contractions, just a constant tingle. It's just super weird, and not sure why it would be doing that??

I do know baby is head down and has definitely dropped and I've had the "bowling ball between the legs" feeling for several days, if not for the past week.

I really don't want her to come now - she had all the time up until tomorrow to get here, but now she has to wait until after the 14th, or even late in the day on the 14th, to make her appearance, because I cannot be in the hospital for the 14th.

My husband isn't leaving? He has a meeting on the 14th that's kind of important and affects us financially, and I am wanting to be with him.

Quail-A,

yeah, the tingle-ies are normal, just a weird nerve/pressure thing- I've felt it in all my pregnancies towards the end.

Drink MORE water if you are feeling funny, even if you think you already drank enough, for 2 reasons- feeling weird can be a sign of dehydration after your recent activity, which can reduce amniotic fluid and tax your kidneys, and IF you are going to go into labor anytime soon, you REALLY wanna be hydrated well. NOTHING, I repeat, NOTHING sucks like having to get stuck over and over and over and over again to try to get an IV in a dehydrated, shrunken vein (I got stuck so many times that they were out of spots and gonna try either my neck or BETWEEN MY TOES!!

) Its just a good idea to drink till your almost sloshing if you can (yeah, I know, it doesnt help that it makes you have to pee even more, but its the best thing and worth it for what is really a short time in your life). Remember- tea and soda and coffee dont count as water since they contain dehydrating caffeine or too much sugar. They can work against you.

Hope baby holds off till you are ready though and you can go with hubby!

I'm feeling much better today. And have been drinking a lot of water.

Lots of pressure when I stand up, and I'm positive her head is engaged!

Please wait until after the 14th little girl. Please.

I have some cramping today. I can't tell if they are really Braxton Hicks or something intestinal. I'm leaning towards BH's because my abdomen feels tighter than normal and feels like menstrual cramps. Everything online that I could find that describes them is really vague.

Why does he want to move to TN??? I am not going to talk you out of it, because #6 is my second girl! I'll send you PINK DUST!

Did I write TN???? That is where I want to move.... he wants to move to IN because that is where he is from. He is retiring very soon and we will have to move to find another job.
I will need pink dust!!!! Dont think I can handle another boy....LOL

But see, she played you on that one... you're already so in love you can't even think about being grumpy about the stretch marks because she's already here

Try the cream! I'm interested in knowing how well it works!

I've been using the Mederma Stretch mark stuff for months--since I noticed the ones on my boobs and hips and I do think it works. It's $40 a tube but you can find $4 off coupons online which helps a little bit. You don't use very much at a time and so far, I'm still on my first tube of it.

My oldest will turn 14 this month and I can still see stretch marks.... they fade, but they will never go away without surgery.

Not super stoked. Had my first real bout of morning sickness today. I never threw up with my first so it kind of threw me for a loop. Just

it's not twins. I talked to my aunt and she said that the sane thing happened with her second pregnancy. She actually started throwing up and was having WAY more activity internally than the first time and sure enough identical boys

don't get me wrong. I'm sure I'd be thrilled at some point but I know there will be

if it does turn out to be twins.
