You should call your doc and be screened for a Latex allergy. Latex is everywhere in the hospital and you really would not want to have a bigger reaction while in labor!

But if you just changed laundry soaps, that might be the cause.

So it turns out, the hives start at the same time every evening. There is no correlation to any new products, foods or animals. I do have a mild latex allergy, but nothing really exciting. I am itching from head to toe at this very moment with raised welts that look like fresh horse fly bites. I did a little research, and while it is unlikely for most pregnant woman to have this condition, it is a known chronic ailment during pregnancy. It is just termed Pregnancy Hives or Pregnancy Urticaria. Most women are treated after the first trimester with an antihistamine like Benadryl or Claritin with some relief. Sadly, it usually lasts the duration of the pregnancy once it begins

Thanks for the suggestion, PUPPP are pustule-like rashes not so much flat raised welts

Hopefully you won't have them the whole time - talk to your doctor, maybe she/he knows some "home remedies" or little things for you to try to get at least a little relief! I'm sure there have been at least a few patients he/she has had that has stumbled upon something that helped!
