Express your thoughts on this ( Photo )

It reminds me that "Some gave all, and all gave some" and that I am thankful for every one of the soldiers, whether it be Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine, National Guard etc. that have volunterred and submitted their lives to the freedom of this country. AMERICA

Here's to all of you soldiers....................THANK YOU

It shows gratitude from one soldier that has "been there" to another soldier that has been there too. Fills my heart with pride and also angers me that more people do not turn up at local parades to celebrate the forefathers and the men and women that follow the orders of their commander and cheif. These men and women have lived in conditions that we would not permit animals to reside in.
God Bless America, and God Bless every man, woman and child that has endured a war.

It gave me chills and brought tears to my eyes.
There is truly a bond that trancends age, race and religion among our servicemen and women.
I am very proud of the men and women in the armed forces.
There are people from every walk of life in the service, the two neighbor boys (brothers) across the street are in Afghanistan and Iraq.
My son's friend is a Navy seal.
My father and father in-law both spent 20 and 30 years in the military and fought in vietnam.
My husband is a Marine.

Lets not argue about the war and what is right and wrong.
Its not fair to anyone and more importantly
It does a disservice to our country, our servicemen and all those who fought, served and died for us.

My thoughts are ..........I see a man that served his country and knows that the man he is hugging has served his and given part of himself so that we may have a better, safer place to live..! These men of all ages, need the support of us and their political leaders.
(hope that is not political)

Amazing isn't it? But that is not the point of this thread either.

Thank you chel.

Thanks again Jim.

Thank you all that have served your country in whatever way you did.

Through misty eyes I see two generations of warriors that voluntarily gave up some of their freedom for others.

Thank you for the reminder that we need to remember our servicemen and women all year, not just on memorial day:)

Check out this website:
http://www.troopfanmail.net

Our 4-H club sends Christmas cards to the troops via this website. We get several responses from soldiers every year. Two of my daughters have pen pals from the cards. It has been a excellent experience for our family.

Thank you again for the reminder.
