I love it when I hear "aboot" on the office phone. Then I know I'll be dealing with someone incredibly reasonable, polite and downright friendly. I adore Canadian customers.

All my southern relatives say "DEEEtroit" & it drives DH nuts! I cackled like a lunatic when an announcer introduced the "DEEEEtroit Red Wings" this week.

BTW - hubby says "ain't" and it drives ME nuts.

I was telling a story about the new dyson vaccuum I got and how well it sucked, and really did a good job. The person I was talking to said "my vaccuum litterally sucks, I need a new one" I really wanted to tell her that that was litterally the opposite of the definition. But I just nodded and walked away, that wasn't the first time it had happened and I'm sure it won't be the last.
