Okay, I thought it was interesting that the VERY evening after I posted this contest, I collected eggs and found THIS neat one:

I've never gotten WHITE speckles this large on a tan egg! Neato!

I can't believe all the gorgeous speckled eggs in here! WoW! I guess I never really knew that so many different breeds laid speckled eggs.

The Welsummer hen that laid this large egg was a year old... I don't have pictures of this hen but she laid eggs like this regularly.
