How often these types of eggs are laid: Green/Teal = 5-6 days a week per bird. Crummy BCM = 3-4 days a week per bird
Size: Medium for now, getting bigger every week.

Thank you! We have a pair of hens we hatched from a friend of ours. The girls have been tough to train (make friendly) but they are such sweeties now. Their names are Thelma and Louise, if that tells you anything. For us, they lay consistantly. They actually started laying at 4 months old and one has tried to be broody several times. We also hatched 4 males who ended up in freezer camp. We originally kept one but he was too agressive with the Buff Orpingtons so he made it to camp too. As for cold hearty, they have yet to see winter but our friend Terry has been breeding them for many years and has never had a problem in cold temps.
