She raked her claws across Blaze’s face before running through the brush. She could hear Snowberry.

Blaze bit back a screech of rage and pain as Toad and his stupid mate attacked him once more.

Toad saw Eerie out of the corner of his eye run into the woods, before he once again raked his spurs into Blazes wing.

Snowberry was almost to the flock then he collided head-on with a young gray hen. “Eerie! What’s happening?”

“Snowberry!” Eerie panted. “Blaze is here. He’s the leader of EmberFlock- and he almost killed Jay- and he threatened to kill me- and now he and Toad are trying to kill each other.” She panted. “I couldn’t stop them. Please come. I don’t want him to kill Toad!” She cried hoarsely.
