Halia waited for Milo

She lay for for a long while and nobody stirred in the cave and her stomach ached with hunger. Another flock if birds flew by and she sprang from the cave without thinking, taking one down with a clumbsy swipe. She landed awkwardly and tore into the bird with quick, famished bites until nothing was left. She swallowed the last peice and looked around for a stream to wash it down it. Hobbling over on her short, stubby legs she plunged her snout in and drank for several moments. Once she was done she cast a guilty look up towards the cave and started walking back over, catching a scrauny mouse on the way.

Xene bent her neck down and caught a frog hopping around the water, swallowing it whole.

She sat down across from him "I see no need to" She replied "Seeing as no harm seems to have been done"
