Lol, mine don't for the most part either, at least not for the night. They have tried standing on it though. I've suspected that some might, but I think most of the yuck comes from them scratching poop into it. So to update the question:

Do you purposely dirty your water?

Also, what do you think of those new nipple waterers?

What makes one nest box better than the other, so much so that you all have to use it at once?
