Face is swollen, oozing, and smelly. Rampant infection? *pg 2 new pics

Okay I think it might have been from the new eye cream. It's making his eyes drain a lot of puss. He seems to be getting one of his eyes back now. If I keep cleaning out the eye then he can keep it open for a little while, as the swelling in that eye has gone down considerably. Other eye is still very bad but at least he can see food and water now! Thanks for the advice on the tetracycline. It SEEMS to be helping so far...

You might want to check his ears and see if they have some infection in them. The congestion in his head may be putting pressure on his ears, so he is shaking his head to relieve himself.

Here is one from about an hour after administering the eye meds. He hasn't been able to see for a couple of days so this was a really cool moment. He popped his head out and stare at himself in the mirror, he even had a small chat with himself. I hope he doesn't notice that I cut all of his streamers off so they wouldn't rub on his puncture wounds. He would be very upset, lol. I love him.

His ears seem to be the only thing on him that are looking alright, but is there a certain way I could make sure and relieve any pressure?

Btw, thanks for all the smarts and expertise!!!! PETEY appreciates it!!!

I so agree, if he is your baby and you do not want to loose him or him go blind I would get to a vet

good luck

I'm sorry he is my baby and I don't want to lose him but I've already explained the situation. The only vet in town whodoes birds will not see him until Tuesday and even then she said all she could do it give him the meds that I bought at the feed store....

Thank you so much. He is a showgirl which is like a silkie with a naked neck. He's normally really frustrating and rude and REALLY REALLY funny but now I can also call him brave!
