Bleenie, I found a pattern for your granny swirled square and made one, it was ingeniously easy, well except for keeping the 4 threads from tangling into an knot of epic proportions.

Well I've been working on mine and hope to keep going til the deadline so I have more than the required number. I've got about 9 or 10 done. I'm using Vannas "chocolate for most of the brown in my squares and then the Love Chocolate for the last round. Vannas is lighter and it looks nicer. Though there is not as much per skein.

Well that is great makes you half or greater finished.

YES, that drove me a little nuts having to keep moving the skeins around to keep them from tangling! but it is actually really easy.
