I guess it doesn't mean much in a little town like Mt. Shasta, which has a half dozen crystal shops but can't support a shoe store. There was some kind of display of snow machines on the one business street. That was it.

One week to go. Does everyone think they will be done?
Also, do we know yet what shapes? or is it going to be anything?Writer-Will the club post an official thread for the geometric shapes swap? I went through my yarn yesterday and put some aside for it.
Love the work, both the squares and the scarf/hat.Hello, fellow hookers! Sorry I have been MIA but have been working on other SWAPs, and have made several scarves, hats and headbands for people that have placed orders. It is finally getting to be cold her in Tennessee and everyone realizes they don't have anything to keep them warm and needs a scarf or head gear NOW! LOL
Have a few squares left to make but should have them done by the end of next week.
Kass... can you please PM me your address so when they are ready to ship, I can get them out. I will let you know when they go so you can expect them. I agree also to sending the extra square to the person that had to drop due to a family emergency.
The squares posted are beautiful! Writer... love the hats.
Here is the most recent headband/scarf set.
SWAP square:
I got a brilliant idea! I went with it... and here is the results for another square... Man! What was I thinking! I had to tack these on with glue to keep them in place before sewing them down. I really like how it came out and will do another to keep for myself but geez... the sewing and tails just about did me in! The background is a basic granny in Ivory Tweed. There are 30 individual leaves in purple, navy, forest, lettuce, terra cotta, bronze, burnt pumpkin and sungold.
