Falling Down Heights, my daily life

Pics
I am exhausted. Got back home less than an hour ago. Full dark, cold as $#%@^. Dog screaming his fool head off inside. Had to put animals to bed and feed the rabbits. The chickens in the big coop managed to knock aside the piece of wood I use to prop the door open, so three of them were left outside. Big Red and Sleven were on the roof of the coop (it's all enclosed) but the third (unnamed) went and wedged herself between the coop and the fence and refused to come out. Had to pull her out by the tail! >.<

The power steering line sprung a leak on the way to the city. By the time we made it there, it was pouring out like crazy. We had to stop several times to refill the reservoir, but that no longer worked at that point.

After dropping off the SUV at the junk yard, we went to pick up the ducklings. I asked the breeder if he had any eggs available, but sadly no. But, he did have a third female duckling. So my youngest daughter got her two, and I took the third. I officially own a Call Duck. Plus am fostering three others. The ducklings are almost 4 weeks old, so thankfully don't need any special care apart from being kept inside.

I named mine Sunny, because it was a cold, cloudy, miserable day.

Eldest daughter finally managed to get the leak under control. Took way too long. And my anxiety went through the roof from everything, plus having to go to a super-crowded Walmart. >.<

Time for bed.

Meet the girls! All three are Grays, one is smaller than the others (mine) so probably a bit younger. They are super friendly and active.

I'll be fixing up the cage they're in a bit more. Already replaced the water bowl (this shot was taken mere minutes after I filled it!!!).

Yes Fluffy, I know! Chicken pictures later today, I promise!
