No blizzard around here, but we're going from a high of +2 right now, to -15 in less than 12 hours. Also some light snow for the next couple of hours. Fun.

I a-salt-ed the driveway and back porch and the vehicles have been chipped out of their ice skins. I feel bad for the rabbits, but they seem to be doing just fine with all these stupid weather non-patterns.

If she knew what she's missing now that she's an indoor chicken, my little OEGB hen would be thanking her lucky stars!

It’s wicked here right now, it’s a proper blizzard - had a hard time walking I n from the barn earlier.

I was able to do most of them, even without the flexibility!

Also, I think I figured out what's causing my issues: the clutch in my friend's truck! Especially when driving in the city and having to shift so often.

The horses came in yesterday with frost on their muzzle whiskers and little ice balls, which I rubbed off much to their displeasure. But before you think I am mean, they get all frustrated trying to eat their warm grain with the icy whiskers try to rub them off on the wall, me, the bucket…. So I save them the aggravation, much to MY satisfaction. Payback for making theirs stalls such a mess

That's one of the darkest I've seen!

I am very surprised at the colour. I haven’t seen that colour before.
Green is from one of the Peavey Mart chicks they bought up from Hoovers. They are basically just mutts, one of their hybrid crosses. Mutts are the best I say!

Oh, I agree! I loved my mutts! But I was trying to start a business, so had to get purebred, since the mutts didn't sell as well.
