It's too bad the chicks I'm getting won't be ready to lay and brood until next year. But, it'll give me something to look forward to on those long and cold winter nights!

I was so happy this morning, but not as happy as the ducks! The hose is completely out of the snow/ice, and thawed enough I could fill a pool for them.

Yesterday, I made myself a fried egg sandwich with eggs from my banties. Well, wouldn't you know, they were fertile! So, I may have something for to Maticoopx after all, lol! Just to test it out.

Got the bigger chicken coop cleaned out. I hurt all over. Then slipped on the ice when going to feed the bunnies.

I'm too old for this...
