One of my knees has metal plates and screws in it from an accident 40 years ago it only bends to a 45° angle . The other knee is a knee replacement that bends just a little better about 65°

I say as long as you’re upright and walking it’s all good

The white one standing is the mare who falls down sleeping she will be 24 in May. Oh she moved she in the stall next to the sleeping one.

From Oct 2025 - you can see her half asleep with her head resting on the stall door. And Reenie sleeping again hahaha.

The mare sleeping will be 25 next month

She looooves her sleep.

People sell backyard laying hens/pullets here, around $40 if they lay blue/green eggs.

Yeah, the 'fancy' eggs are always a selling point.

Yep - I am about to dip into my Celebrex hahahaha, need to get a cover built for that portable diesel heater and finish setting it up in anticipation for our big cools down this week.

I think your threat worked. We got a fairly substantial dump of the horrid stuff in just a few hours. Had to use the snowblower. And it was heavy, wet snow, too.

Temps are plummeting tonight, then back up above freezing tomorrow as more **** falls.

It was blowing snow all day here but it didn’t amt to much. I see the temps here are back on the rise after dropping all day. Crazy weather - nuts!

I managed to get my feed unloaded and stored then dropped hay and straw for the week from the loft. Flocking cold up there with the wind blowing up under the eves into the loft.

Have I mentioned how much I hate winter? And I didn’t get a chance to work on the portable diesel heater at all due to snow and feed and other chores.

Got another first egg - 3 of the 4 Noirans are now laying.
