I do not have one as of yet...I definitely want to add to my flock one frizzle!
Those of you that have mixed flocks do they ever get picked on for being different, odd one out?
Nope. She’s tiny, and different, but she fends for herself. She’s not a bully, but she also doesn’t get bullied. I did get her because she was being picked on at her old home, though.

She’s incredibly smart. Knows her name and comes when called.

And they were glossy-not matte. Her daughters lay a darker gray since the dad was BCM.

I have a couple of olive egger roosters I am going to breed with my frizzle hens when the roosters are old enough. I think at the end of April. They are not frizzled- The dad to them had frizzled parents though, I am hopeful.

I finally managed to find a frizzle and I absolutely bought her for her looks and that gene that I fully intend to play with in some odd pairings. Really want to put her over a silver laced to see what comes out. She has such an interesting paint pattern going on with her feathers and we named her 'Bombshell Blitzie' because she really does look like a bomb went off.

I know frizzles aren't technically a breed but it's mainly aimed at frizzle cochins/pekins but any breeds with frizzle feathers are allowed! You don't have to own them to take part on this thread!
We can give eachother advice about raising frizzle chickens (with the weather and molting etc)

Mine have never been bullied. My frizzle roo is our top silky roo, and our frizzle pullet is the top out of the pullets. She might even become the top silky hen in the future.
